To increase traffic to your business, a ‘must do’ is to create a Facebook business page.
Since their inception over a year ago, I’ve been operating this site as well as two others. Their progress has been phenomenal and I’m really enjoying the process.
A while ago, I subscribed to syndication services for my sites which automatically syndicate my new posts to my personal Facebook page. I have been getting a lot of interest and readers from my own circle of family and friends. However, the time has come that I would like to set up separate Facebook sites for each of my websites.
On Facebook, I searched for instructions to set up a Facebook page for each of my sites and found the search rather confusing. I actually landed on a page that stated that only one facebook page could be set up per user. This led me to believe that I would not be able to set up my site pages. It was by luck that I found the Facebook DIY page to help ‘Create Facebook business page‘. I’m eager to dive in and see what more I can do for my pages.
I have found my efforts to make use of social networking through the sites themselves to be very helpful in developing interest in my sites. The natural progression from that was to set up pages for my sites. This way, I can create and track fan pages, print custom reports, add applications and network with the public.
In addition to my efforts to encourage feedback and return visitors, I also ‘Like’ the sites I use frequently and feel offer something valuable to the visitor, as I believe social networking is a must to promote any website, business or organization, whether locally, nationally or globally.
